About Newveau Festival
Newveau Festival is Newberg’s fresh take on a time-honored tradition. Inspired by France’s beloved Beaujolais Nouveau celebration, our one-day festival brings the joy and energy of harvest to the heart of Oregon wine country with a uniquely local twist.
Every year, harvest workers descend on the Willamette Valley to harvest the bounty of the vines, work hard for several weeks, and then complete the job. No fanfare. No celebrations. No thank yous.
We hope this festival can be our community’s “thank you.”
At its core, Newveau is about connection. It’s a chance for our community to come together with the winemakers, growers, harvest crews, and culinary artists who make this region thrive. The festival invites everyone—from curious newcomers to lifelong wine lovers—to enjoy vibrant nouveau-style wine releases, cozy seasonal food, and the laid-back charm of a town that knows how to celebrate.
We honor the hard work behind the bottle—especially the harvest workers whose hands make the magic happen—and we do it in true Newberg fashion: warm, welcoming, and unpretentious.
