We Celebrate

Inspired by the traditions of Beaujolais Nouveau, Newveau Festival brings Newberg’s spirit to life with a one-day celebration of harvest, wine, and community.

Our mission is to connect residents with the wine professionals who fuel our economy—and to honor the hard work of harvest workers who make it all possible.

Expect exclusive nouveau-style wine releases, delicious bites from local chefs, and a welcoming, laid-back atmosphere that’s proudly un-stuffy and full of heart.

What is Beaujolais Nouveau?

Beaujolais Nouveau is a light, vibrant red wine traditionally made from Gamay grapes in France’s Beaujolais region.

Released just weeks after harvest, it’s meant to be enjoyed fresh, capturing the bright, juicy flavors of the new vintage. Traditionally launched with great fanfare on the third Thursday of November, Beaujolais Nouveau is less about aging and more about celebrating—the culmination of harvest and the promise of good things to come.

It's a wine that's lively, fruity, and easy to love—perfect for toasting the hard work of the season and sharing with friends.

Great Wine Made Better With Great Food

Harvest season is about coming together, and nothing brings people around the table like comforting food made with care. At Newveau Festival, we're serving up dishes that warm your hands and your heart.

We’re partnering with local artisans to bring traditional celebratory foods to this festival, including melty cheese dishes and Coq Au Vin, highlighting the best the Willamette Valley has to offer.

Harvest in Focus: Photography Art Show

The story of harvest isn’t just in the bottle—it’s in the hands, faces, and moments that bring it to life.

As part of Newveau Festival, we're proud to showcase Harvest in Focus, a special photography exhibit celebrating the people behind the wine. Throughout harvest season, photographers will visit participating wineries to capture the hard work, spirit, and beauty of harvest up close—from early morning grape picks to joyful end-of-day gatherings.
